Our resin-enhanced wax ribbon is a durable ribbon which is versatile enough to print on a wide variety of stocks. It offers crisp edge definition and dark, durable images. Recommended substrates would include coated/uncoated paper and tag stocks, synthetic paper, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyolefin, Kimdura®, Valeron®, Polyart®, gloss paper, flood-coated paper, and UV varnished labels. Common end uses would be for flexible packaging, general carton labeling, inventory, logistics, parts packaging, product ID, retail tags, ingredient labels, pharmacy labels, shelf labels, shipping and general ticketing.
The wax/resin ribbon formulation is designed to print on a wide variety of receiving materials and offers excellent bar code scanning with sharp, reliable images at a wide variety of printing speeds. The powerful resistance against smearing and chemicals makes it a perfect choice for your demanding environments. Substrates typically using a wax/resin ribbon include coated/uncoated tags, gloss paper, polypropylene, polyethylene, coated/uncoated papers, top-coated vinyl, polystyrene, polyolefin, Tyvek® and Tyvek Brillion®. Wax/resin ribbons would be used for asset tracking, automotive, flexible packaging, general, healthcare, horticulture, inventory, outdoor, product ID, shipping, retail tags, lumber tags, pharmaceutical labels, shelf labels and warning labels.
Our general purpose resin ribbon’s extensive label adaptability and high print speed capability makes it the most diverse resin of its kind. It is great for applications involving special or extreme conditions and outperforms the competition in abrasion and solvent resistance. The resin ribbons work very well on polypropylene, polyethylene, polyolefin, vinyl and polyester.
